Profile

I am an early childhood development and learning specialist with over ten years of experience in ECE sector in Malawi and the sub-sahara Africa region. I hold a Master of Early Childhood Education from Macquarie University, Australia; Master of Public Health from Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (formerly, College of Medicine), and Bachelor of Education (major Human Ecology) from the UNIMA. I have extensive knowledge and skills in implementing foundational learning interventions in literacy, numeracy and socioemotional domains. His firm commitment in the realm of ECCE has and continue to play a significant role in improving the ECCE system in Malawi. My career goal is to utilize my multi-disciplinary expertise, influence and leadership qualities to build the capacity of early childhood educators to give young children the best start in life to escape poverty, achieve social inclusion and reach their potential in Malawi while building a community of ECCE reformers that will change the global narrative of ECCE in the region.
